2015 Cost Engineer: Automatic Fire Alarm System

detector

The probes are commonly called probes, and there are more than twenty kinds. They are all signals that convert the physical quantities such as smoke concentration, temperature, and brightness into electricity, and are transmitted to the control mechanism through wires.

1. Its classification is roughly as follows

(1) According to the types of information collected on the site, there are smoke detectors, temperature detectors, flame detectors, and special gas detectors;

(2) According to the equipment on the scene information collection principle is divided into ion detectors , photoelectric detectors, linear detectors;

(3) According to the way the equipment is installed on site, it can be divided into point detectors, cable detectors, infrared beam detectors;

(4) According to the connection mode between detector and controller, it is divided into bus system and multi-wire system; the bus system is divided into coded and non-encoded, while the coded code is divided into electronic code and coded switch code, coded switch coded. Also called dial coding, it is divided into: binary coding, ternary coding.

2. Setting and layout of fire detectors 3. Selection of smoke detectors The detectors can be divided into three levels according to their sensitivity: first-class sensitivity detectors are generally green, used for non-smoking sites, and secondary sensitivity detectors. It is yellow, used in general rooms, dormitories, offices, etc. The detector with three levels of sensitivity is red, and it can be used for smoking places such as corridors, stairwells, smoking rooms, etc. Smoke detectors should not be used in the following places: there are often smoke, dust, powder, and steam. Temperature sensors should be used in these places. In order to increase the reliability of fire alarms, smoke-inducing and temperature-sensitive detectors are sometimes used in combination.

Installation of the detector 1. When installing the detector on a walkway ceiling with a width of less than 3m, it is suitable to be placed in the middle. The installation distance of the temperature detector shall not exceed 10m, and the installation distance of the smoke detector shall not exceed 15m. The distance from the detector to the end wall shall not be greater than half of the installation spacing of the detector.

2. The horizontal distance from the detector to the wall and the edge of the beam shall not be less than 0.5m. 3. There shall be no obstruction within 0.5m around the detector.

4. The horizontal distance from the detector to the air outlet of the air conditioner should not be less than 1.5m, and it should be close to the air outlet.

5. For rooms with a low ceiling (less than 2.2m) and narrow (less than 10m2 in area), install a smoke detector and set it near the entrance.

6. When installing smoke detectors in stairwells, corridors, etc., they should be selected so that they are not directly exposed to external wind. When using photoelectric smoke detectors, avoid direct sunlight or direct light detectors.

7. When installing detectors in corridors connected to rooms such as kitchens, boiling rooms, and bathrooms, install 1.5m away from the edge of the entrance.

8. When installing fire detectors in elevator shafts and pipeline wells (shafts) that are not closed on each floor, they should be installed at the top of the uppermost floor. The fire detectors may not be installed in the following places: (1) Cut off the pipe wells (shafts and other similar places) whose floor height is lower than three floors and is completely within the horizontal alert range;

(2) When the top of the refuse wells is installed with fire detectors difficult to repair;

9. The installation spacing of smoke detectors and temperature detectors should not exceed the scope of professional regulations.

10. The edge of the detector mounted on the ceiling and the horizontal edge of the following facilities:

(1) The horizontal distance from the lighting fixture shall not be less than 0.2m;

(2) The thermal detector distance from high temperature light source lamps (such as iodine tungsten lamps, incandescent lamps with a capacity greater than 100W, etc.) shall not be less than 0.5m;

(3) The net distance from the electric fan should not be less than 1.5m;

(4) The distance from the speaker that is not prominent should not be less than 0.1m;

(5) The net distance from various automatic sprinkler nozzles should not be less than 0.3m;

(6) The clear distance from the aperture of the multi-hole ventilation ceiling should not be less than 0.5m;

(7) The distance from fire doors and fire shutters is generally in the appropriate position of 1 to 2 m.
