The water-containing material is loaded with a dewatering bucket, and the water is self-extracted from the bucket during the lifting and transportation process. The equipment can be used as the final dewatering equipment for coarse material with low density (specific gravity); for fine material, it is generally used as preliminary dewatering. In order to adapt to the dewatering operation, the installation angle of the hoist is generally 50 ° ~ 70 °. The two buckets should be separated by a traction chain. Practice has shown that the lifting height of the dewatering hoist should be at least 4 meters above the water level, 5 to 7 meters for coarse materials, and 6 to 8 meters for fine materials to ensure sufficient dewatering time. According to the granularity of the material to be transported, the speed of the bucket movement is 0.25 to 0.270 m/sec and 0.15 to 0.17 m/sec, respectively. The dewatering effect of the dewatering bucket hoist is related to the particle size and properties of the material. The structure of the dewatering hoist is shown in the figure below.
