At that time, because diesel had a national standard that was equivalent to the Euro V standard, and gasoline was not available, Shanghai adopted a local standard for gasoline, namely the Shanghai V standard. Since November last year, major gas stations in the Shanghai area have uniformly supplied Shanghai V-standard gasoline and China V-standard diesel.
According to the regulations of the Shanghai Municipal Government, from May 1 onwards, the quality standards for gasoline sold in Shanghai must comply with the requirements of China V, and at the same time the Shanghai V gasoline standard currently being implemented must be abolished.

The reporter saw yesterday at Sinopec Shanghai Petroleum Quality Inspection Station that the test personnel used a special needle to extract 10 microliters of Shanghai V gasoline, slowly injected it into a nitrogen-sulfur analyzer, and then heated the instrument through high-temperature heating to evaporate the oil; The computer monitor gradually shows that the volatility curve of sulfur content in the volatilization process of this needle oil can be accurate to every second. Finally, this needle oil product showed a sulfur content of 8.45 milligrams per kilogram, which met the national V standard.
At present, there are more than 800 gas stations in Shanghai, of which Sinopec has 582 gas stations at the camp. It is understood that last year, Sinopec supplied 3.5 million tons of gasoline and diesel to Shanghai, accounting for about 70% of the total market in Shanghai. Sinopec stipulates that if a gas station receives 2 consecutive complaints about the quality of the oil, the gas station will stop operating to inspect it to ensure the quality of the oil sold.
