In the next 10 years, China will form 100 key technologies for phosphorus chemical industry in the three main directions, and 30 of them will occupy the first place in the world to achieve clean production and high-end development of the phosphorus chemical industry. This is the target of the phosphorus chemical technology research jointly determined by universities, enterprises, industry associations and local governments at the kick-off meeting of the Advanced Phosphorus Chemical Technology and Equipment Collaborative Innovation Alliance held at Sichuan University on April 14.
To tackle the key technologies of phosphorus chemical industry , universities, enterprises, industry associations and local governments will cooperate in depth and establish a synergistic innovation alliance for advanced phosphorus chemical technology and equipment. The alliance will focus on solving basic, forward-looking, and strategic major issues in the scientific development of the phosphorus chemical industry. It will use key technologies for the use of middle and low-grade phosphate rock and associated resources, key technologies for phosphoric acid refining and high-purity phosphorus chemicals, and the utilization of waste resources. The key technologies of circular economy are the three main directions.
According to Prof. Liang Bin, Dean of the Sichuan University’s School of Chemical Engineering, the establishment of the Collaborative Innovation Alliance helps establish the key technologies and pilot test platforms for collaborative innovation in the phosphate chemical industry, and improves the full range of engineering technologies for the effective use of low-to-medium phosphate rock. The research and development of fine phosphorus chemical and high purity phosphorus chemical products, phosphorus chemical clean production and utilization of waste resources, comprehensive utilization of phosphate ore resources, and recovery of fluorine, magnesium, and iodine elements are a series of major issues facing the development of the phosphorus chemical industry.
In the next 10 years, the Collaborative Innovation Alliance will strive to break the bottleneck that currently restricts the development of China's phosphate chemical industry, form key technologies, core technologies, and common technologies with circular economy and green characteristics, and focus on mastering 100 key technologies for new products of phosphorus chemical industry. Such as ultra-pure yellow phosphorus, electronic grade and semiconductor grade high purity phosphoric acid product technology, food grade, pharmaceutical grade, electronic grade, special grade and other high-purity phosphorus chemical product technology, pesticide, food, materials, additives and other organic phosphorus chemical product technology.
In addition, the Collaborative Innovation Alliance will organize innovative teams to explore scientific research organizational models that integrate school-university collaboration, school-enterprise collaboration, and international collaboration, build a collaborative innovation chain, and establish a world-class phosphate chemical collaborative innovation capacity building demonstration base, and eventually build a centralized low High-efficiency utilization of high-grade phosphate rock, development of high-purity and fine phosphorus chemical products, and development of environmentally-friendly phosphorus chemical industry circular economy key technologies, as well as the transfer of a collaborative innovation platform, form a collaborative first-rate national team.
