Choosing a good slurry pump is no longer a problem that bothers us. We need to understand how we should maintain it during use.

Slurry pump is mainly for the purpose of conveying flow, so it is best to install a flow meter (meter) in the operation monitoring system to monitor whether the flow meets the requirements at any time; in the piping system with vortex generator, slag slag system, pressure The dewatering system also requires a certain pressure at the exit of the pipeline. Therefore, a pressure gauge should also be installed in such a system to monitor whether the pressure meets the requirements. In addition to monitoring the flow and pressure during operation, the pump must also monitor that the motor does not exceed the rated current of the motor. Always monitor whether the oil seals, bearings, etc., have occurred or whether the pump has run out or spilled from the tank, and handle it at any time.

The slurry pump should start the pump inlet valve and close the pump outlet valve prior to shipment. Then start the pump, the pump starts and then slowly start the pump outlet valve, the size and speed of the pump outlet valve to open, should be to control the pump does not vibration and the motor does not exceed the rated current.

The activation of the pump in series also follows the above method. Only after the first-stage pump is turned on, the outlet valve of the last-stage pump can be opened a bit (the size of the open-circuit pump motor is 1/4 of the rated current is appropriate), and two levels of three can be started one after another. After the last pump and the tandem pump are all started, you can gradually open the outlet valve of the large final pump. The size of the valve is fast and slow. The pump should not be vibrated and any pump motor should not exceed the rated current.
