Don't you want to have a wearable device that allows you to control your phone. For a smart watch or a wearable device that you are not interested in? If so, then you should hopefully see a bright day from this latest research project at MIT and Microsoft Research. A doctoral student from MIT and a research team from Microsoft worked together to create a temporary tattoo that can be used as a touchpad to enable the wearer to remotely send data and control their phone.
They haven't explained the technical details yet, but they will be wearing a device seminar in September. The technology itself is called DuoSkin. They revealed that its working principle is to use graphic software to design circuits and stamp gold foil tattoos because it is beneficial to the electric power before proceeding with other materials and components to make the tattoo interactive.
The technique involves using the above skin to turn a touchpad, designing it from a tattoo to change the temperature-based color of the data as well as pulling it. In one case, even LED lights can be incorporated in the tattoo.
Controlling your phone will be one of the basic advantages of this technology, but the possibilities are endless. It can be used to do other things, maybe in the future, we will find out if this technology has made its own way to the general public at all times.
