The first phase of Guangxi cassava fuel ethanol project has made positive progress

Guangxi COFCO Biomass Energy Co., Ltd. has an annual production capacity of 200,000 tons of cassava fuel ethanol project. It was the first non-food fuel ethanol project approved by the state during the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” period. It is a national energy strategy deployment and implements national vehicle ethanol. Gasoline expands the use of its work and actively explores non-food fuel ethanol pilots. It has been included in the 10 key projects of the autonomous region in 2006.

The project site is located in Hepu Industrial Park, covering an area of ​​550 acres. A total investment of 750 million yuan in the first phase, built a special railway line, a fuel ethanol production line, an installed capacity of 15000KW power plant and a large-scale sewage treatment system. The technology adopts medium-temperature cooking, continuous fermentation, differential pressure distillation, pressure swing adsorption, clean production and circular economy. The annual production capacity is 200,000 tons of fuel ethanol, 50,000 tons of fiber feed, 29.7 million Nm3 of biogas, and 50,000 tons of carbon dioxide.

The project has been in operation since December 24, 2006. The overall civil engineering project has been in the final stage; the liquefaction, fermentation, distillation dehydration, separation and drying of the main alcohol device, and equipment for the finished tank site have all been installed in place. Completed 69%; pre-installation equipment, power stations, water treatment and electrical instrumentation installations are ongoing. At present, foreign power has been sent to the plant, and the external network water supply intervention system has been completed and water supply conditions have been met. According to the schedule of the project, it is expected that the trial will be put into production at the end of this year.
