Yara Becomes Scania AdBlue Global Supplier

China Truck Net News: Not long ago, Yahoo International and Scania announced global cooperation on the supply of AdBlue. This is the first global cooperation agreement signed by heavy-duty truck manufacturers and AdBlue suppliers regarding the aftermarket, and it also reflects new standards for improving air quality around the world. AdBlue is a solution, also known as automotive denitrification agent or automotive urea solution. Together with a catalytic converter that reduces nitrogen oxides, it can reduce the emission of harmful gases in trucks.

This cooperation covers the following regions:

Europe, including Russia, Ukraine and Turkey

Asia Pacific region including China, Australia and New Zealand

Latin America, including Brazil and Colombia

Africa, including South Africa

The agreement took effect on January 1, 2012, and Yara became Scania's selected AdBlue supplier and provided it with its own branded product, Air1.

As of January 2012, several major countries, such as Brazil and China, have implemented legislation on nitrogen oxide emissions, requiring heavy vehicles to use environmentally friendly solutions such as AdBlue. Scania dealers and factories around the world will provide their trucks with AdBlue counter and filling stations.
