Yazaki acquires 50% stake in Indian auto parts joint venture


According to India’s “Business Standards” report, Tata AutoComp announced that it will sell its 50% stake in Tata Yazaki Autocomp Limited. Yazaki Group, both parties will complete this transaction within a few months.


In 1997, Yasaki Group formed a joint venture company Tata Auto Parts Systems Co., Ltd. with Tata Auto Parts Systems Co., Ltd., which mainly manufactures wiring components for India's automotive industry in Pune, Sanand, India. There are factories in Patnagar, Jamshedpur and Bangalore.


According to a report by India Credit Rating Information Service Co., Ltd. CRISIL, Tata Yazaki is India's second largest manufacturer of automotive wiring components. Last year, it occupied 16% of the automotive wiring market in India, of which 46%. The business is contributed by Tata Motors.


Yazaki Group is a global auto parts supplier with approximately 200,000 employees worldwide, mainly producing automotive wire assemblies, various instruments, instruments, air conditioners and solar heaters; Tata Auto Parts Systems Co., Ltd. is Tata Group's subsidiaries have three business units: interiors and plastic parts division, supply chain division and TACO engineering division.
